Laptop and notebook on a clean desk ready for building

Agent Lab

Your first product in 8 weeks

No experience. Just curiosity. Start building with AI instantly.

AI did to skills what Google did to facts.

Nobody memorizes phone numbers anymore. Nobody’s going to memorize code either.

You need one thing: curiosity.

8 weeks. Small cohort. You leave with a finished product you built: a web app, a website, a bot, or an app that installs on a phone.

You build it with AI. It runs on AI. You’ll direct AI agents to spec, design, build, test and deploy — and the thing you ship will have AI working inside it. Both sides, in eight weeks.

  1. 01

    A finished, deployed project

A real product you built and put online by the end of the cohort.

  2. 02

The skill to build the next ones

A repeatable way to direct AI agents from idea to ship.

  3. 03

    Something that is yours

You own the idea, the code and the product. Show it to your boss, your family, or an interviewer — or take it further. That part is up to you.

People building together in a bright workshop

Built for the curious, not the already-technical

A fit if you

  • Curious about AI but not from tech
  • Want to level up at work or improve your odds on a new role
  • Ready to show up, do the homework, and build for 8 weeks
  • Have a laptop (Mac or Windows) and 6–10 hours a week

Not a fit if you

  • Need a job tomorrow
  • Looking for a job or income guarantee
  • Can’t invest the time for sessions and homework

How the lab works

01

Live group sessions

Learn and build together each week with a mentor in the room.

A community of people like you

A small cohort of curious builders, not a giant faceless course.

03

Structured homework

Clear weekly assignments so you keep moving between sessions.

04

Chat + monthly 1:1

Peer support in the community, plus a personal unblock session.

Meet your instructor

He walked this path first. He teaches it in the same order he did it himself.

Gerardo Malagon

Gerardo Malagon

Founder · Your instructor

Gerardo had no technical background when he started. He built his first product in three months, and that product — appgentic.ai — has paying customers today. That is his own result, and it is why he teaches this in this order.

He now teaches the same path, in the same order he walked it: find an idea, test it on real people, build it with AI, and put it online.

Questions

Do I need coding experience?

No. Curiosity is enough. We start from zero: finding an idea, testing it, planning it, designing it, building it, and putting it online.

What will I build?

A web app, a website, a chatbot, or something that installs on a phone like an app — with AI working inside it. You’ll use AI to build it, and AI will be part of what you built. No idea yet? We’ll help you find one.

What is the group like?

A small cohort and a community of people like you: curious, mostly non-tech, building their first products with AI. You learn together, share progress, and help each other.

How much time per week?

Plan on 6–10 hours: the live session plus structured homework between sessions. This is a build, not a lecture series — the hours are what turn into your finished product.

What computer do I need?

Any Mac or Windows laptop from the last several years, and a normal internet connection. The AI thinks on its own servers, not on your machine, so your computer doesn’t need to be fast or new. Linux works too.

Tablets and Chromebooks won’t work — the tools install like regular desktop programs. Not sure about yours? Just ask.

When does it start, and when are the sessions?

The next cohort starts in September. The first class is Saturday, October 10 at 2pm Eastern, then every Saturday at the same time for eight weeks.

Every session is recorded, so if you have to miss one you can catch up. Saturday afternoons are deliberate — most people on the programme have a job during the week.

How much does it cost?

$398 for the eight weeks. You pay it in two parts of $199. The first part holds your seat. The second comes one month after the cohort starts. There is no third payment.

The fee covers the programme, not the tools. The AI coding tool we use costs about $20/month and you pay them directly. Hosting is free. A domain name is optional, and free web addresses work fine.

What if I don’t finish a project?

Show up to every session, complete the assignments, and still don’t finish a working project: full refund.

The homework is the product — each week builds the next piece of it. If you fall behind we’ll tell you that week, not at the end.

What tools do we use?

Modern AI coding tools (like Cursor), GitHub, design tools (like Google Stitch), and simple hosting. We set the environment up with you.

Could I turn this into a business?

Some people will want to. We do not promise customers or revenue, and this programme is about building your product and putting it online.

That said, your instructor built a business this way, so the subject comes up. What you do with what you build is yours.

Is this a job guarantee?

No. You leave with a real portfolio project you can demo and explain. Hiring outcomes depend on you.

Who is this not for?

Anyone who needs a job tomorrow, or who can’t invest the time to show up, do the homework, and build.
